We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer.**Responsibilities**- Provide strategic and operational direction and decision making to the Maintenance staff in support of company goals and objectives. Work closely with the maintenance team to develop business plans and activities that support these goals. Ensure maintenance resources are properly staffed & managed across a three-shift operation to meet manufacturing & distribution center expectations for equipment and support services.- Ensure maximum uptime of all equipment through the extensive use of preventive and predictive maintenance. Utilize up-time as the key metric to determine success of the team.- Establish a working relationship with other staff and departmental managers to be sure activities across the Maintenance team support their needs as customers. These can be scrap reduction, new equipment/upgrades, quality or process improvements, safety or environmental enhancements, building/facility changes, new product/process needs, and equipment or facility maintenance issues. Assist staffs in setting priorities and making decisions as needed.- Ensure goals and performance measures are established for each Value Stream in support of company goals & objectives and customer needs. Regularly review metrics and provide feedback to staff. Implement corrective action initiatives to improve performance where and when needed.- Support overall facility planning activities in regard to new equipment installations, building changes, and factory rearrangement in support of business needs.- Participate in setting strategic direction, policies, and assist in overall decision-making, in regard to operation of the entire facility as a contributing member of the Plant Manager’s direct staff.- Ensure procedures and practices comply with defined procedures and work instructions. Provide training in these requirements to staff as needed.- Develops concepts and designs layouts for jigs, fixtures, molds, dies, and other tooling required for product manufacturing.- Conceptualizes and designs product manufacturing tools, gages, and special machines.10. Recommend & Implement changes in existing tool and gage designs to facilitate and improve manufacturing methods11. Work closely with CI Manager on the Lean Manufacturing implementation program.12. Financial and Budget Control (Input and hold responsibility for maintenance budgets; prepare the annual Maintenance budget and forecasts and manage the budget from identification to completion of projects).**Skills**Maintenance Responsibilities:- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics.- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.- Proficient in MS Office.- LOTO.Tooling Responsibilities:- Responsible for all new tool & dies to be delivered to required VS on time.- Responsible for quality control on all outgoing/incoming tool deliveries.- Tools & dies design and drafting.- Troubleshooting / Diagnostics of Tools & dies and fixtures.**Experience**- 7-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing and facilities maintenance.- Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing a world class preventive maintenance process in a large facility, including computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).- Extensive knowledge to read and interpret product and/or tooling blueprints, building and equipment diagrams. Possess a strong understanding of geometric tolerance standards and statistical control.- Experience in facilitating new equipment installation and plant floor reconfiguration projects.- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, principles (TPM, 5’s SMED, 8D’s, OEE, MTTR, MTBF among others).- Experience with Molding machines, machine centers, bar machines.Puesto: Administracion**Información Adicional**- Tipo de contrato: Permanente- Salario: Negociable- Pais: MEXICO- Estado o Region: Chihuahua- Ciudad: Ciudad Juarez
