This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.**What You'll Do**- Collaborate with the VP of Compliance and provide strategic advice for compliance and governance requirements, obligations and framework regarding compliance operations and advisory services.- Act as an advisor and provide guidance to business and infrastructure functions, as well as coordinate the collection of data and information in connection with data driven projects.- Lead operations and advisory within the Compliance function and act as a mentor to the team members.- Support the design and implementation of continuous operations of compliant management, issues management and marketing reviews.- Work with the other leaders to foster a culture of compliance within the organization through various initiatives.- Partner with the VP of Compliance in enhancing the compliance culture through on-going communication, conducting staffing assessments, and refining the target operating model.- Provide support as needed for the Internal Testing, BSA/AML and Program Office functions.- Create and prepare management and board reporting for the compliance function you oversee.- Ensure that compliance programs clearly articulate risk reduction and demonstrate enhanced control environment with evidence of design and operational effectiveness.- Lead operations and advisory within the Compliance function and mentor team members.- Support the design and implementation of continuous operations for compliant management, issues management, and marketing reviews.- Work with other leaders to foster a culture of compliance within the organization through various initiatives.- Partner with the VP of Compliance in enhancing the compliance culture through ongoing communication, staffing assessments, and refining the target operating model.- Provide support as needed for the Internal Testing, BSA/AML, and Program Office functions.- Create and prepare management and board reporting for the compliance function you oversee.- Ensure that compliance programs clearly articulate risk reduction and demonstrate an enhanced control environment with evidence of design and operational effectiveness.**What We Look For**- Bachelor's degree.- 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience, preferably in a bank or FinTech environment, with 2+ of people leader experience.- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain cross-functional working relationships.- Strong knowledge with federal laws regulations related to the following activities: FCRA, FDCPA, MLA/SCRA, TCPA, EFTA, Reg E, Reg B, SCRA/MLA and other federal and state laws and regulations related to lending.- Comprehensive knowledge of bank and/or payments financial ecosystems.- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.- Continuous improvement mindset.- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.- Strong technology skills.- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment.- Ability to prioritize competing priorities in a logical manner ** Preferred Qualifications**- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager certification.- Prior experience in a senior role focused on product compliance at a FinTech or tech-driven bank.- Buy Now Pay Later Experience**About You**:- **You have relentlessly high standards** - many people may think your standards are unreasonably high.
