We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realize their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Middle Office Operations Analyst****Role Purpose**Perform daily middle office operations like funding forecast, FX order processing or other tasks assigned by the defined deadlines**Principal accountabilities**Participate in project or tasks as assigned from supervisors, e.g. investment market accounts and operating model setup, new fund/client mandate launch, etc.Follow up issues and discrepancies with counterparties and service providers promptlyDeliver customer service centric approachEnsure timely and adequate support to internal customers and stakeholdersMinimize errors by reviewing and maintaining adequate & effective control proceduresReport non-conformities or irregularities immediately after occurrenceEnsure all processing tasks are completed by the defined time-frames accurately and are in accordance with the procedures manualsEnsure compliance of Global Standards, Financial Crime Compliance and Regulatory Compliance initiativesRequirementsEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong organizational and planning skills, with ability to prioritizeProblem solver and team playerProactive and work independently**Experience**2+ years of proven, progressive and broad-based financial industry & Asset Management experience.Knowledge of middle office functionsProven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse working environmentsAt HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days, so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
