Join us and make impact happen with a career at TikTok.About the Tax TeamThe Tax Team at TikTok helps ensure that our company and all our products are tax compliant throughout different regions and countries. Also, the Tax Team provides support to internal requests and works with multiple different stakeholders to support product and business launches and new features.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Tax Specialist who can move fast and learn quickly to help establish new processes and scale existing processes for our Spanish Speaking Latin America portfolio (i.e. Colombia, Argentina, Chile, etc), based out of Mexico City.Please submit your resume in English to be considered.**Responsibilities**:1. Support the implementation of tax compliance routines in new countries in LATAM;2. Coordinate tax compliance processes with outsourcing firms in different countries;3. Respond to internal tax inquires of moderate complexity, and assist business partners with tax issues timely;4. Monitor and analyze tax judicial and administrative precedents that impact the company's operations and financial positions;5. Provide support for ad hoc tax matters, i.e. product launches;6. Coordinate tax consulting matters with outside counsels.**Qualifications**:1. Fluency in Spanish and advanced English (resumes must be submitted in English)1. Fluency in Spanish and advanced English (resumes must be submitted in English)2. 4+ years of related experience in large Multinational Corporations and/or a Big 4 firms with a bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Law;3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.4. Local tax knowledge and analytical skills;5. Effective oral and written communication skills;6. Strong problem-solving and time management skills;7. Team Player and "Hands On" profile.8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;9.
