We are currently seeking a Network Security Advisor to join our team in Mexico**Position's General Duties and Tasks**:- Review and implement firewall rule changes working through a ticketing system.- Configure firewalls for usage, manage their day-to-day operations and perform regular maintenance through upgrades and patches.- Configuration/administration of software and hardware components of firewalls and other portions of security infrastructure.- Track and manage licenses status for renewal & upgrades.- Support and maintain content filtering, VPN, firewalls, and other network traffic management systems.- Fully test, monitor and document system changes through change process.- Schedule after hours maintenance windows and coordinate customer notifications.- Ensure tickets, tasks and projects are completed or resolved within SLA.- Assist in documentation and monitoring for new projects and existing infrastructure- Write and maintain documentation on process procedures, device statuses, firewall block lists, and other important technical areas.- Create diagrams of network topologies and record details of troubleshooting processes.- Adhere to client policy requirements for security systems & follow policies and standards to support network security and regulatory requirements.- Support and provide evidence and services to audit teams in a timely manner.- Collaborate with Cyber Security Team along with Network Operations to complete projects on schedule.- Engage with clients to relay information about the project and troubleshooting all issues & commits to deliverables with customers and / or management by meeting project deadlines.Qualifications- Working knowledge in network security technologies (Firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS, Content filtering.)- Experience with LAN/WAN networking equipment and protocols such as, but not limited to 802.1Q, TCP/UDP, IPv4, IPv6, NTP, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, SNMP, SSH, TACACS, LDAP, and Syslog- Knowledge of networking monitoring tools and protocols.- Experience with a ticketing system, SNOW (ServiceNow) Incident and Service Request management workflow & RTMS (Remedy)**Must have Skills: For****Network Security Advisor**- Overall, of 8 + years in an Information Security environment supporting services (Firewall, IDS/IPS, Content Filtering, Networking)- 6+ years in Configuration, administration & Troubleshooting of Cisco ASA / FTD including Site to site VPN, Anyconnect VPN and IPS systems.- 4+ Configuration, administration & Troubleshooting of Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewalls.- 4+ Configuration/administration of web proxies- Forcepoint, Blue Coat.- 3+ Configuration/administration of Content Filtering - Zscaler- Good Communication skills (experience in Customer-facing trouble shooting calls)**Nice to have, but not required**:- Knowledge of McAfee IPS /IDS- Knowledge in Cloud - Azure, AWS, GCP- Experience with Network Automation to reduce manual effort on day to day operational active.- Experience on working with Cisco ISE or other Network Admission control products**Education Requirements**- Bachelor's degree- CCNA, CCNP Security (preferred)- PCNSE Certification (preferred)- Checkpoint Certification (preferred)LI-LATAM**About NTT DATA Services****Job Segment**:Network, Cloud, Information Security, Cisco, Consulting, Technology
