Junior Industry Solution Consultant

Sync Talent is seeking a **Solution Consultant** for its Belgian client, **OMP**, a global leader in digitized supply chain planning. OMP helps the world’s largest companies solve complex supply chain challenges through its **Unison Planning software**, which integrates advanced intelligence to enable fast and informed decision-making. Serving industries such as **life sciences, consumer goods, chemicals, and packaging**, OMP delivers innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, collaboration, and sustainability across global supply networks.**Role Overview**:As a Solution Consultant at OMP, you will focus on one of their industry-specific solutions for the **Life Sciences & Consumer Goods** **(LCS) sector.** You will work closely with customers and project teams to understand their business needs, gather and define requirements, and help design and implement fully tested, high-quality solutions using OMP’s Unison Planning software.This role combines **deep industry expertise, functional consulting, and technical skills**, making it ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex supply chain challenges for global Fortune 500 companies.You will be part of the **Industry Team**, collaborating with Commercial and Delivery teams to achieve business targets and provide industry-specific expertise throughout the project lifecycle.**Main Responsibilities**:- Collect, analyze, and map business and project requirements to the functionalities of OMP’s LCS industry solution.- Gather and derive new requirements to continuously improve the industry solution.- Support the design and testing of new functionalities and validate them with stakeholders.- Assist in the implementation phase by providing industry solution knowledge from start to finish, working closely with the customer’s project team.- Offer expertise and support in customer project tracks both during and after implementation.- Collaborate with internal teams to enrich and expand the capabilities of the LCS industry solution, finding innovative planning solutions in collaboration with solution architects.**Requirements**:**Education & Experience**:- University degree in Engineering, Business Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.- Strong affinity with IT and supply chain planning concepts.**Technical Skills**:- Programming skills (SQL, JavaScript, Java, Python, C#, C++, PHP)- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.**Soft Skills**:- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.- Collaborative team player with an open and proactive mindset.- Passion for working in a multinational, customer-driven environment.- Flexibility to travel as needed.**Languages**:- **Fluent English** (spoken and written) required.- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.**Compensation & Benefits**:This position offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary, individual bonuses, travel allowance, and other benefits.
