**Job ID**: **Required Travel** :Minimal**Managerial - No****Location**:MEXICO- GUADALAJARA (Amdocs Site)****Who are we?**:**In one sentence**:Responsible for providing best-in-class technical support to a global customer base.Maintains ownership of the resolution of complex technical problems, including debugging, simulations, identifying bugs, tool and script development for problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and reproduction.**What will your job look like?**:- You will bring continuous improvements/efficiencies to the software or business processes by utilizing software engineering tools and various innovative techniques and reusing existing solutions.- Investigate & analyze day to day tasks and take/suggest corrective action to enhance further for effort reduction- Support day to production issues and implement automation for day to day repeating work using SRE platform.- Implement Production defect fixes (as needed).**All you need is...**:- Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent.- 3 - 4 yrs experience as a software engineer or a software support engineer.- 2+ yrs experience and ability to write software code in C, C++- 2+ yrs experience in Unix/Linux & Window platform- Having programing knowledge in Java/Python is an advantage- Understanding of database and database concept along with programming knowledge PL/SQL will have advantage**Why you will love this job**:- You will serve as an expert on specific technology- You will take an active role in technical mentoring within the team.- You will work with multiple channels and diverse areas of expertise.**Amdocs is an equal opportunity employer.
