Because why not do it all?**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Strategize and analyze target market trends and prospect list to better target viable customers and provide efficient, on-demand support.- Implement distribution strategies to accelerate growth of new and additional products and/or new markets.- Build and maintain relationship management with current and prospect customers.- Maintain an effective communication path with the customer to ensure sales opportunities for products.- Develop and maintain long and short range sales and marketing plans.- Monitor and communicate sales activity to contribute to product and service planning.- Provide top-quality, Gates customer service for all clients and prospects.- Implement distribution strategies to accelerate growth of new and additional products and/or new markets.- Monitor competitive environment to identify opportunities and countermeasures to address competition.**Requirements and Preferred Skills**:- 5 - 7 Years of Sales Experience or equivalent industry experience.- Bachelors Engineering Degree.- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services- Solves complex problems.- Progression to this level is restricted on the basis of business requirements.- Analytical thinking, tools and judgment to identify innovative solutions- Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives.- Anticipates potential objections and influences others to adopt a different point of view.- Must be a self-starter who is motivated to plan and manage customer needs.- Excellent oral and written communication.- Effective territory management.- Effective use of pre-call planning techniques.- Ability to communicate openly, honestly and constructively and treat all customers with dignity and respect.- Able to meet performance expectations working remotely with little supervision.- Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite.- Ability to make decisions within established guidelines, policies and budgets.**Supervisory Responsibilities**:May lead functional teams or projects.**Physical Requirements**:Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves objects weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds.Frequently bends, stoops, climbs ladders and crouches on a regular basis.Ability to drive long distances for extended periods of time.Travel required for this position is 50% - 70%.WHY GATES?Founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, Gates is publicly traded on the NYSE.
