And we’re passionate down to our bones about making whatever you’re listening to a little more magical.The engineering team at Bose is a thriving, passionate, deeply skilled team of professionals from a broad range of disciplines and experiences, who share a common goal—to create products that provide transformative sound experiences.Job DescriptionConfiguration Analyst Job DescriptionIn this position, you will be responsible for the following:- New Data Creationo Guide and support Product Development Teams on CM activitieso Attend Team Material meetings and report on status of all BOMs, parts, and documentso Coordinate initial release of new part/BOM/doc objects and review for completenesso Facilitate part/BOM/doc lifecycle progression and release by using reports to show status of objects preventing promotion in WC- New Data Extensiono Work with Engineer to release BOMs / Parts to manufacturing for planning, prototyping, production, and sales.o Manage data extension priorities per program build scheduleso Notify customer upon completion of data extension- Initiate Part/BOM Extension requests through Proto. Initiate material/ BOM creation within SAP by populating data on the SAP dashboardo Initiate Part/BOM Promotion requests. Initiate material validation from prototype to production status within SAP on engineering behalf.- Intervene with businesses to resolve data issues- Change Review, Impact Analysis, and Approvalso Review submitted ECN’s for completeness.o Initiate ECN Impact Analysis.o Manage ECN approvals.o Manage creation of new Part/BOM/Documentso Systematically initiate ECM’s ECN’s through Windchillo Audit BOMs extended to the plant via ECN to ensure accuracy- Leadership Responsibilitieso Lead small team, and set performance goals and project deadlines that align with the company’s larger plano Delegate work to employees, track progress, and provide constructive feedback throughout the progresso Address issues with employees, and other concerns in a timely mannero Address problems with quality of worko Act as a link between subordinate and upper managemento Conduct performance reviewso Motivate team membersAssist management in creating strategies to enhance productivity, and process improvementsIf you believe you need a reasonable accommodation, please send a note to
