-Job description**Main activities**:Responsible to:- Prepare and submit tax compliance and optimization activities for HSBC México, S.A such as VAT, Informative returns and other tax compliance matters.- VAT optimization processes and controls for HSBC México.- Provide tax advisory on daily tax matters of the Functions.- Provide support and management on the activities carried out by a junior tax manager and an analyst for tax compliance and optimizations activities for HSBC subsidiaries, as well as, on Deferred Tax and Current tax analysis, effective tax rate for local purposes and IFRs purposes, Corporate Tax Reporting.- Support to the Deputy Tax Director and the Head of Tax on any tax matter and special projects (mergers, restructures).- Management of External and Tax Authorities audits and requirements.- Tax risk management.Requirements- Desirable Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economic Areas- Desirable M.D. in Taxes- 7+ years of experience in Tax, specially on international services companies. Desireble Financial Sector.- Knowledge and experience in advisory (local and international), compliance and accounting for taxes.**Strong Skills**- Analytical skills and decision-making abilities.- Planning, organisation skills, negotiation skills, ability to influence people and effective communication.- Numerical skills and the ability to evaluate costs.- English skills - written and oral.- Leadership and supervise skills for constantly changing risk environment.- Management skills to admnistrative and coordinate the activities of his team effectively.
