We push the boundaries of how to use these tools to deliver a revolutionary new approach for data analytics within our emerging cloud-delivered frameworks_”- ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT:- The various Operations teams within Global Technology Services (GTS) are responsible for global oversight of production systems, including data-centers, helpdesk & support tiers and technical services (servers, storage, network) which operate within this environment. We manage, provision and support FICO's server/cloud environments. Virtualization software includes VMWare and OpenShift. Guest operating systems include Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Edition. Hardware is a mix of dedicated HP servers, Dell blade chassis and a strategic move to the Cisco UCS platform.- ABOUT THE POSITION:- Server Operations: Lead Engineer- _SRE_- As part of a larger Infrastructure Operations team, the Cloud Servers Operations group is responsible for all server infrastructure, server operating systems, dedicated servers, guest operating systems, and common services, such as LDAP, DNS, and Active Directory. The Cloud Server Operations team leads the overall Operational security, compliance and vulnerability management efforts.- This position requires an experienced engineer who is goal-oriented, able to multitask, willing to mentor junior engineers and can work independently and in small groups.- Maintain and deploy systems and services within our virtual and cloud enterprise- Resolve Incidents and Problems and fulfill Service Requests using a service management ticket queue and Change Management processes- Design, develop, and deploy automation/script processes to streamline team workflows- Work closely with FICO infrastructure, dev-ops, and development engineering teams, as well as software and hardware vendors.- Interact with internal and external technical leaders to implement innovative solutions which meet market needs with respect to availability, functionality, performance, reliability, repeatability, and scalability.- Create policy, process and procedure documentation to support systems implementations, projects, and routine operational tasks- Maintain awareness of industry trends and issues with hardware, operating systems, networking, security and any relevant new technologies and frameworks- Participate in an on-call rotation schedule with teammates to provide 24/7 systems support- Manage server security remediation activities including vulnerability scans using Qualys- Manage server operating systems patching using Microsoft WSUS and Spacewalk (moving to Satellite)- Manage server hardening, including scanning for policy compliance, using Qualys and remediation using Puppet.- Complian
