As a software engineer you will take a role in developing complex software systems that have successfully been delivered, working along with business teams and management to collect requirements.The Quest:- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software for mobile games.- Develop a server-side code in PHP, JS, and Python (previous experience using these programing languages is not mandatory)- Analyze, identify, and eliminate bottlenecks and errors on the server side and ensure efficiency and reliability of code.- Contribute to the development of new/innovative game play features and interfaces.- Push your code to millions of users every day.The Skills:- 7+ years of software development experience with an object-oriented language.- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience- Proficient with scalable server-side programming (concurrency / synchronization and distributed systems).- Deep knowledge of database design and optimization.- Strong practical knowledge of current server technologies like REST, SOAP or similar.- Strong knowledge of at least one mainstream server programming language like Python, C#, Java or NodeJS.- Strong oral and written English communication skills.Nice to have:- Experience in developing complex backend systems using PHP.- Game Development experience- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments- Knowledge of at least one cloud computing services like AWS, Azure or similar- Experience with SQL/ NoSQL DatabasesPersonality:- Team player- Eager to develop yourself.- Passionate about back-end optimization and server quality- Eager to explore recent technologies.The Reward:- A fun and dynamic industry where you can make a difference.- Additional Days Off - according to Amber’s internal policy.- Professional and friendly work environment.- An attractive salary package with private medical services.- Awesome and talented colleagues.- Support from all your teammates.- Access to training and learning programs.
