**The Product Engineer for the High Voltage portfolio will be responsible of**:- Develop designs of connection systems and their components.- Ensure a good product designs, through Design Reviews, meet and / or exceed functionality, ergonomics and customer requirements (scorecard).- Verify the performance of the product, ensuring that the validation tests specified by the client are satisfactory.- Ensure that the deliverables to the client: prototypes, pilots, parts for PTR, etc.; they are satisfied in time and quality.- Provide Engineering support to the areas of tools, processes, manufacturing and quality.- Maintain responsible and professional contact with the Client.- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements**Must Haves (i.e. Basic Qualifications)**:- Bachelor's degree in electronic, mecatronic or related- Basic Manufacture knowledge- Design 2D and 3D- GD&T- Autocad- Problem Solving**Nice to Haves (i.e. Preferred Qualifications)**:- Master's degree in Electronics- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.)- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization- Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently- Resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environmentA **bout Connection Systems**:This business unit provides technologies that serve as the nervous system of the vehicle, including the complete design, manufacture and assembly of the vehicle’s connection systems.This business unit’s products include a vast array of connection systems technologies for the vehicle, including: Housings, Terminals, MePa/Pin-headers, High Voltage Chargers and Interconnects, SRS, High Speed Data solutions, On-Glass connections, Electrical Centers, Media Modules and Wireless Charging products.Our technology provides the critical signal distribution and computing power backbone that supports increased vehicle content and electrification, reduced emissions and higher fuel economy.Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
