Responsibilities and Impact Perform rigorous analytical work, research, fundamental credit analysis, analysis of financial statements, building of financial models and forecasts, and writing analytical reports on rated insurance companies. Maintain direct analytical responsibility for a portfolio of rated insurance companies, ensuring ongoing surveillance and providing rating recommendations. Engage in ongoing surveillance and rating recommendations to uphold the integrity and excellence of our ratings. Maintain analytical contact with senior management of rated entities, presenting analytical findings to both internal and external constituencies. What We’re Looking For Basic Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience within structured finance, or within a large commercial bank, investment bank, investing institution, or audit company, specifically in the field of credit analysis of structured finance or equivalent experience. Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of insurance financial statement analysis and accounting principles. Proficiency with figures and the ability to maintain accuracy and be detail-oriented while complying with deadlines. Ability to prepare forecasts based upon reasoned assumptions. Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to expand, learn, and contribute. Hybrid Work Requirements: All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week. Interview Requirements: We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
