**What you will do**:As a Buyer at Johnson Controls, you will play a crucial role in our procurement team, responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, materials, and services necessary for our operations. You will analyze market trends and supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality and cost-effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include:- Conducting thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.- Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous pricing and delivery terms.- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and specifications.- Monitoring and assessing supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.- Managing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services and resolving discrepancies as needed.- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data to support procurement processes.- Continuously seeking opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the supply chain.**What you will need**:- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.- Strong negotiation and communication skills.- Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.- Ability to analyze data and market trends.- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.**Join Us**:
