At PepsiCo we create a Space to be y( )u.**Responsibilities**Currently we are looking for our next:**R&D Product Development Analyst****Which is the main objective of this role?**The main purpose of this role is to develop new products for biscuits portfolio in Mexico and LatAm, coordinating innovation, brand stewardship and productivity projects for this platform through execution of prototyping work, pilot plant and plant trials. This role is responsible for providing technical solutions for the C&C development strategy in the short and long term, working closely with different functions to consider consumer needs in the Mexican and LatAm markets and transferring this into product development. This role will interact with R&D Regional and Global teams, Nutrition, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance as well as vendors and other functional staff.**What will you be doing?**- Lead and execute AOP innovation projects for Cookies and crackers portfolio, following Innovation process according to Technical Stage Gate. Stages include laboratory and pilot plant prototyping, experimental reports, ingredients screening, ensuring Regulatory, Nutrition and Food Safety compliance of the development according, as well as consumer and sensory testing coordination, supporting scale up at PepsiCo’s Plants and follow up of new products after its launch.- Support innovation pipeline development for C&C in LatAm by working closely with Marketing and Consumer insights teams identifying trends, ingredients and technologies, providing technical information regarding costs, formulation and operational feasibility.- Support Quality performance maintenance and improvement across all manufacturing sites in collaboration with Quality Control and Manufacturing teams.- Contribute to maintain business continuity related to Indulgent products and raw materials in the region, providing guidance and technical support during contingencies, identifying potential risks, and proposing solutions with the adequate alignment of multifunctional groups.- Develop feasible technical solutions to support Portfolio Transformation Initiatives related to reducing sugar, sodium and sat fat in C&C across LatAm through screening ingredients and assessing their functionality in Laboratory, Pilot and Industrial Plants also evaluating cost impact, regulatory compliance and sensory consumer perception ensuring product design.- Coordinate Brand Stewardship initiatives to ensure product quality for core products and innovation according business plans.- Identify and execute productivity initiatives, acting as owner of product formulation and in collaboration with C&C team and Global procurement team.- Work closely with external vendors to find new and/or optimized ingredients to develop innovation, productivity, and brand stewardship projects.**Qualifications****Who are we looking for?**- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and/or Technology, Chemical Engineering or Related Specialty- At least 1 year experience in the food industry and/or R&D field- Intellectual Curiosity for learning- Creative thinking- Strong communication skills (oral and written)- Result-oriented with a positive outlook- Self-driven, analytical problem-solving- Fluency in English language (oral and written)- Travel availability**What can you expect from us?**- Competitive compensation- A flexible work environment that prom
