**Job Details****What you will do?**Responsible for the day to day management of people within the warehouse function, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, ensuring that staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. Responsible for housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse.Responsible for coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities of an assigned work team on a shift basis by directing assigned associates in the warehousing, and shipping of customer product in a manner consistent with service and cost objectives.**How you will do it?**Manage customer order fulfillment standards. On-time shipments, unit fill-rate, order status backlog. Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers timescales/requirements Coordinates functions between shifts, to effectively complete the workload, while providing excellent customer service to the stores serviced. Ensures accurate handling of inbound and outbound product. Ensure any hazardous materials are stored in accordance with requirements Improve the utilization of space in warehouse. Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage Work with Continuous Improvement team to improve order integrity, implement Lean/Visual management techniques Analysis of hourly employee’s performance relative to unit picks per hour and overall efficiencies. Break down of daily duties to meet and/or defend establish labor standards. Implement strategies for yard damages (Finished good, replenishment, forklift and facility) Maintain the management of supplier return packaging. Maintains storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles. Maintain inventory by conducting weekly physical counts, reconciling variances. Coordinate activities to achieve a safe environment according to the Road to Goal plan. Responsible for a highly trained and motivated work force. Communicate priorities to the plant supervisors and assure the shipping schedule completion. Implement the High Performance Work Teams strategy with the support from the HR department Make sure that all the system certifications and audits are attained. Member of Safety observation program Involve EHS area prior to implantation of new and modified materials or processes. Define, implement and disseminate health and safety policy at work and the environmental policy in your area. Contribute to compliance (as applicable) objectives and targets for safety, health and environment. Participate in the review of the system. Provide resources for the implementation of the system. Participate in Training programming system.
