Job ID: 28892- Location: Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, MX**Category Purchasing Stampings****Job ID**:28892**Location**:MX-JA-Santa Anita-Vitesco II**Salary Classification**:SG11Category Purchaser is actively supporting the Lead Category Management team in defining a fitting supplier strategy, is responsible for negotiation with suppliers to achieve best market conditions in the respective area of responsibility.- Supports the development of a material and suppliers strategy.- Conducts market analysis.- Supports the strategy definition with crossfunctional partners.- Initiates the New Supplier Introduction Process.- Defining the annual supplier list for his material groups which are reflected in the Category strategic paper based on Vitesco requirements.- Actively influences the sourcing process during development phase through.- Supplier selection.- Negotiation of prices and commercial conditions.- Preparing Sourcing price decision sheets.- Performs annual negotiations to constantly improve the cost situation of the company and support escalations.- Applies negotiation concepts to actively support & execute bundling within the respective Category.- Ensures fulfillment of all necessary requirements by negotiating and concluding legally binding contracts with the respective suppliers.- Responsible for monthly controlling and correction of local data and target achievement.- Supports re-design in cost reduction programs.**Job requirements**:- You are an open minded & motivated person.- You have a University degree in Economics, Administration, Technical studies or relevant professional experience.- You have experience in Purchasing Automotive.- You show fluent English language skills (written & spoken).- You are willing to travel (approx. 25%).**Working Time**: Full time**Business Unit**: Plant PUR HUB**Department**: PUR HUB**Your Contact Partner**: CAROLINA GILVitesco Technologies is a leading international developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art powertrain technologies for sustainable mobility.
