**Contracts Specialist**Other comparable titles:Contract Specialist; Contract(s) Paralegal; Contract(s) Administrator;Overview:Blue Yonder has an opportunity for a Contracts Specialist who will support the legal revenue transactions team and LATAM customer sale transactions. The legal team is regarded as a critical business partner within the organization; our team has a high level of visibility to our sales, consulting services, finance and senior management teams and external customers. The position will be located in Monterrey, Mexico.Scope:- Core responsibilities include: drafting and processing revenue related agreements (including license, SaaS and professional services agreements), as well as ensuring the company standards and processes are followed for contracting with customers.Our current technical environment:- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite required, in particular Teams, Office and Outlook.- Experience with PowerBI, Salesforce, and Contract Lifecycle Management programs is preferred.What you’ll do:- Review, prepare the initial draft and negotiate customer and partner-facing software, SaaS and services-related orders, SOWs, agreements, and amendments based on established guidelines.- Act as a trusted advisor and partner with the Legal, Sales, Support, and Finance teams to ensure negotiations result in optimal terms and close customer transactions.- Review non-standard terms and involve necessary teams to obtain approval.- Work closely with attorneys to support drafting and obtaining approvals for complex customer agreements.- Review executed customer agreements to ensure compliance, completeness, and accuracy.- Amendment and Letter of Clarification tracking and reporting.- Build productive relationships and feedback loops with Legal, Finance, Sales, Operations, Support, and Product teams to drive efficiencies.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and reinforce consistent requirements and processes for revenue contracts.- Assist with the creation, updating, and maintaining of contract templates, playbooks, and SOPs.- Administrative tasks and reporting related to revenue contracts.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-related issues, software licensing, SaaS, professional services, and revenue recognition.- Performs other responsibilities and special projects in support of the legal team's goals and initiatives.What we are looking for:- Experience with Software, SaaS and Tech contracts, highly preferred.- Proficient English and Spanish speaking and writing required.- Bachelor’s degree in law or legal studies and 2+ years’ experience in contract management and drafting (or 6+ years’ experience if no degree)- Experience working with sales teams in a fast-paced environment.- Proficient and efficient contract drafting and negotiating skills.- Ability to understand legal, risk, and business impacts to contract language and deal velocity.- Demonstrated written and oral communications skills, comfortable communicating to peers, management, other business units, and customers.- Outstanding people skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with individuals at all levels in the company and around the world.- Demonstrated time management skills, ability to successfully multitask, flexible, detail-oriented.- LI-TL1***Our Values****If you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
