**Description****Cash Application Specialist**Primary Purpose:**What You Will Do In Your Role**:- Check bank for daily cash received- Investigate unapplied cash payments utilizing available resources and working with defined stakeholders- Reconcile the cash received vs. cash applied- Create overpayments and chargebacks in ERP for payment variances as indicated on customer remittance- Add comments in ERP for unapplied/unassigned payments and update as needed- Track unresolved issues and work with stakeholders to resolve timely- Escalate issues with team leads- Ensure all cash posted and applied before month-end close- Support for a smooth month-close working with all stakeholders- Liaison with the in-market teams for any reconciliation- Support auditing requirements**The Experience You Will Bring****Requirements**:- Technical experience or Associates Degree with specialization in Accounting, Business, or Finance- 2 to 4 years accounting experience in a multinational environment.- Fluent in English - Oral and Written**What will put you ahead**:- Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Accounting, Business- Good coordination skills- Good oral and written communication- Work with high volume in systematic way- A team player with a positive attitude- Quick learner and can work under pressure- High degree of integrity, both personally and professionally- Should have sound knowledge of basics in Accounting- Ability to identify gaps and confidence to bring improvement ideas to leaders- Should be able to display confidence in interacting with customers
