**Your Job**The Quality Engineer will help us achieve the quality objectives by implementing and maintaining quality systems, monitoring its effectiveness, and implementing strategic quality plans for each area under their scope in our plant in El Salto, Jalisco.**Our Team**You will join a team with diverse experience and knowledge focused on achieving the goals with teamwork, knowledge sharing and open to challenge to find the best solution.**What You Will Do**- Coordinate technicians’ activities and/or quality auditors to accomplish product and process conformity.- Follow up and solve customers’ complaints/concerns by leading the 8D meetings.- Partner with other departments to validate, identify and define characteristics and changes on the process/product that can affect or are not in compliance with customer requirements.- Develop, implement, and update Quality Management System (QMS) procedures according to Molex policies and standards.- Participate in the evaluation of samples and prototypes, product release and mass production.- Develop inspection and quality control plans for in process, final audits, and shipping audits to obtain the certificate of conformance.- Participate in the definition and maintenance of the Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).- Coordinate reworks, inspections, and validations of non-conforming material.- Evaluate Statistical Process Control (SPC), Underwriting Laboratories (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA), Electronic Discharge (ESD) needs for each process and product.- Monitor and lead the team to solve internal and external quality findings and poor-quality costs using the Quick Response Action Plan (QRAP).- Prevent, solve, or escalate potential issues or safety risks.**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**- Experience developing and implementing quality systems in a manufacturing shop floor.- Well versed in ISO9001- Knowledge SPC- Understanding of FMEA and quality systems.- Working knowledge of an ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)- Ability to effectively use problem solving techniques: 8D´s and Six Sigma- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish**What Will Put You Ahead**- Well versed in IATF 16946- Comprehension of UL and CSA- Engineering studies completed**Who we are**As a Koch company, Molex is a leading supplier of connectors and interconnect components, driving innovation in electronics and supporting industries from automotive to health care and consumer to data communications.
