We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to be responsible for the design, deployment, operations, and management of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) cloud platform resources. This role is critical for building and maintaining a scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure that supports our organizational operations. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions using private and public cloud platforms. Provision, operate, and manage distributed applications and infrastructure resources using IaaS and PaaS cloud platforms, alongside on-premises infrastructure. Implement and manage delivery systems, provisioning security, and ensuring Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Serve as a liaison between application development and network infrastructure teams to establish standards during resource migration, development, and operations across all IaaS and PaaS cloud platforms. Possess a thorough understanding of current and emerging IaaS and PaaS cloud technologies, DevOps engineering, and CI/CD frameworks. Demonstrate knowledge of multi-tier application architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking. Understand topics such as high availability and business continuity, costing, deployment management, network design, data storage, security, scalability, elasticity, cloud migration, and hybrid architecture. Provide technical guidance on architectural best practices throughout IaaS and PaaS cloud platform projects. Maintain records, prepare reports, prioritize, and schedule work. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Four years of progressively responsible experience in cloud infrastructure administration, development, and/or programming responsibilities. Comprehensive understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Working knowledge of one or more high-level object-oriented programming languages and modern scripting languages. Strong understanding of modern server and desktop operating system administration. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Associate Cloud Engineer) are highly desirable. DevOps: CI/CD, Automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Cloud Networking: Network Design, Network Security, Load Balancers. Cloud Storage: Data Storage Management. Cloud Security: Infrastructure Security, Firewalls, Encryption. Programming/Scripting Languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Java (or other object-oriented languages).
