Descripción y detalle de las actividades**Amphenol TCS**is seeking a dedicated and experienced Materials and Planning Manager to oversee our materials scheduling and procurement processes. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations and cost reduction within our production environment.The Materials and Planning Manager will report to the Plant Management or General Management and is responsible for scheduling raw materials and managing inventory needs based on production demands. Key responsibilities include purchasing operations, inventory control, warehouse management, and billing for finished products.**Key Responsibilities**- Plan and organize the work of the supply chain unit systematically and methodically.- Determine requirements for production scheduling, purchasing, and storage at mínimal costs.- Maintain timely communication with suppliers to analyze product characteristics, quality, service conditions, pricing, and payment terms.- Establish purchasing procedures and present received offers to internal clients with strategic recommendations.- Participate in testing and controlling samples to ensure compliance with specifications.- Monitor delivery timelines and manage item status and receipt.- Identify alternative suppliers for better pricing, quality, and delivery conditions.- Monitor stock levels and assist in designing actions to address any deviations.- Manage activities based on material planning to align with production schedules.- Ensure demand aligns with internal and external capacity.- Maintain open communication with sales and marketing teams.- Collaborate with production managers to meet shipping deadlines based on order forecasts.- Develop strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure capacity meets demand.- Implement managed inventory programs to reduce short-term stock.- Responsible for inventory management to achieve corporate objectives.- Lead a team of buyers and material planners.- Evaluate suppliers according to established procedures in collaboration with internal clients.Experiência y requisitos- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.- Proficiency in English.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.- Strong focus on cost reduction and supply chain knowledge.- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, Microsoft Office).- Excellent personnel management skills.- Results-oriented, proactive, and dynamic.Beneficios- Fondo de ahorro- Seguro de gastos médicos- Bono de Puntualidad y Asistencia- Beneficios de acuerdo a la LFT- Caja de ahorro**Número de vacantes** 1**Área** Materiales**Contrato** Permanente**Modalidad** Presencial**Turno** Mixto**Jornada** Tiempo Completo**Horario**- Tiempo completo- Lunes a viernes**Estudios** Carrera con título profesional**Inglés**Hablado: Avanzado, Escrito: Avanzado**Disponibilidad p. viajar** No
