***:The Service Engagement Manager is a key position within the Engineering Services Department and is the liaison to sales, operations and the customer. The Service Engagement Manager curates each customer experience from discovery to final invoicing and is the projects main point of contact. The Services Engagement Manager is responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple and simultaneous projects. This position collaborates with internal and external customers to coordinate and deliver services to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Primary point of contact for opportunities and acts as the liaison between the customer, sales and operations and manages customer expectations before, during and after a project- Supports and assists the development of customer agreements, contracts, scope of work, NDA's and other pre-sale requirements- Collaborates with customer representatives to determine service needs and how OMRON offerings can support their needs- Supports in presales activities, including presentation of capabilities, opportunity vetting and closing support (project presentation)- Assists in the preparation and supports the proposal presentation of Scope of Work and quotation to the customer as needed- Maintain and develop client relationships, focusing especially on building long-term relationships around OMRON offerings- Builds and maintains close relationships with the internal team leaders to stay informed on the state of the services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise- Ensures operational compliance with the contracts, agreements, scope of work and that OMRON fulfills its obligations with consideration to time, cost and quality and drive post project lesson learned activities- Manages change in scope of work in collaboration with sales and any escalation requirements (internal and external)- Coordinates prioritization activities on projects as needed- Oversees budget and timelines; resolves and coordinates the sharing of resources among the different areas within and outside the Project Management Office (PMO)- Lead and facilitate periodic status and risk discussions with customers- Solicits and manages customer feedback, ongoing needs to establish, improve and refine services- Support development of project documentation at end of project- Represents the Omron Guiding Principles through personal and business interactions with employees, distributors, and colleagues**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED**:**Education**:- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a relevant field**Experience**:- Five years of relevant professional experience**Competencies**:- Strong leadership and organizational skills- Strong customer service, project management certification, and quality control skills- Strong resource planning skills- Considerable experience with relationship management and interpersonal business development- Ability to work in a fast paced environment- Energetic, aggressive and focused- Ability to multitask, adapt on the fly, prioritize and change focus rapidly- Team player mentality but able to work independently with minimum supervision- Extreme attention to detail- Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning and communication skills (written and oral)**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**- The responsibilities listed below are representative, but not all inclusive of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities necessary to satisfactorily and successfully perform the essential duties of this position.- Reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.**Technical Abilities**:- Project Management (certification a plus)- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish/French) a plus- Superior MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PPT)**Behavioral Profile**:- Driven self-starter- Self-managed- Only accepts high quality results- Detail oriented with eye towards big picture- Outstanding communication skills**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**The requirements listed below are representative of the physical and environmental factors the jobholder will encounter.
