Descripción y detalle de las actividades- Material Control: Plans and manages activities of to include receiving, inventory control and timely distribution of raw materials and purchased parts to both internal and external customers.- Material Planning Function: Plans and manages all activities to include timely release of orders for purchased components, raw materials and maintaining optimum inventory levels.Responsible for:- Manage the end-to-end supply chain for steel materials, including sourcing, procurement, inventory, and logistics.- Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with business goals, focusing on steel supply optimization.- Maintain strong relationships with steel suppliers, mills, and logistics partners.- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to forecast steel demand and ensure timely availability.- Implement inventory control strategies to minimize carrying costs and avoid stockouts.- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and environmental regulations related to steel sourcing.- Identify and mitigate risks in the steel supply chain, including geopolitical and market disruptions.- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) for planning, tracking, and reporting supply chain activities.Experiência y requisitos- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
