Come be a part of this journey****BAT MEXICO IS LOOKING FOR A D**EMAND PLANNING SR MANAGER****SENIORITY LEVEL**:Management**FUNCTION**: Digital Business Solutions - Marketing**LOCATION**:Monterrey, Mexico**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**Achieve operational excellence and enhance supply chain efficiency by leading the development and implementation of robust demand forecasting strategies. Utilize data analytics, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration, to accurately anticipate product demand, minimize inventory costs, and ensure timely delivery. The overarching goal is to establish a demand planning framework aligned with organizational objectives, fostering strategic alignment. Through proactive analysis and strategic planning, the objective is to contribute significantly to the company's overall success by optimizing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and maximizing profitability.**Reports to**:Strategy and Planning Director**Reporting Level**:Managerial**Geographic Scope**:USA**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**- Build the necessary tools/models to support demand forecasting for monthly demand planning, annual demand planning and ad-hoc requests.- Provide accurate and timely volume performance analysis to facilitate demand forecasting. Ensure accurate and timely reporting as per the regional guidelines.- Manage forecasting process and improve forecasting accuracy. Coordinate local forecasting process, co build short and mid-term demand plan with Sales & Marketing team.- Propose demand plan based on statistical analysis (considering market trends, customers vision, expected exceptional, guidelines issued from previous S&OP cycles)- Co-operate with the Product and Marketing teams to understand the product availability and coming Marketing activities.- Consolidate the product-level forecasts from the sales teams.- Provide visibility on product performance and reveal a trend towards lower or higher margin products for management team for fact-based decision making.- Maintain demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer needs.- Work with sales teams and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy.- Work with Marketing Functions to develop, train and coach the executive and managers, ensuring that there is a clear succession plan in place.- Exhibit leadership capabilities in engagement with key stakeholders through behaviours and attitudes which are in line with the guiding principles.**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**- Do you have 7+ years of experience in commercial planning or related areas?- Do you have advance experience using Excel, and ERP tools?- Do you have an advanced English level?**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**- Graduate in Engineering, Statistics, Econs, Maths or related area.- 7+ years of work experience in domain, senior stakeholder management and project management in a large-scale organisation.- Advanced English. (Working language)- Good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Management- Good understanding of SC Planning tools: Any ERP like SAP, Blue yonder or APO.- Hands-on experience in data toolsets, demand planning software and programs, statistics, forecast modelling.- Excellent management, coaching and motivational skills are essential due to the number of staff within the departments.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior and other levels of staff in all departments and companies both within the Group and externally.- Highly disciplined in data management- Highly skilled in Excel: Expert- Strong Project Management skills- Highly numerate with the ability to make decisions and judgements, the ability to work in a changing environment generating innovative ideas and creative solutions.**BENEFICIAL**- Python or SQL knowledge.- PowerBI proficiency.- PMP certication.- MBA is considered an advantage.- Kinaxis knowledge.**WE ARE BAT**At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
