We intend to keep on with the growth and we're looking for experienced Lead Software Engineers unafraid of new & innovative technologies and through best practices develop revenue cycle/AR solutions & products from the hottest easy-fast-affordable-automated business network nowadays**Responsibilities**- Architecture and implementation of user-facing parts of PayStand's Systems- Collaborate with product owners, designers, other engineers, and customer success to build the best user experience**Qualifications**- Can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility- Solid Computer Science and Software Engineering background- Experience building highly scalable RESTful web services and APIs- Experience with Node.js & Express.js- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ES5 and higher)- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular.js (1-4), React, Vue.js, etc.- Experience with preprocessor stylesheet languages such as Sass, & Less- Opinionated, but willing to compromise and take direction**Bonus**- HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 expert- Knowledge of other web libraries and frameworks such as Polymer, React, etc.- Understanding of front-end performance issues and optimization strategies (i.e. Caching, CDNs, concatenation and minification, sprites, SVGs, fonts, etc.)- Experience with message queueing technologies such as RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka- Experience with event driven service architectures- Experience with other programming languages than JavaScript- Experience with front-end build environments (Grunt, Gulp, etc.)- Experience with object oriented and functional programming paradigms- Active interest in Bitcoin, Ethereum or other digital currencies & the blockchain- Ownership of one or more digital currencies- Familiarity with the workings of one or more cryptocurrencies- Programmed smart contracts- Deployed 1 or more Bitcoin, Ethereum or other crypto network nodes**Perks**- Salary + competitive equity in a high-growth-stage startup- Generous PTO (vacations) & sick days- Flexible in-office work model- Free snacks & paid lunch in the office.- Mayor Medical Health Insurance- Food Vouchers- Stock Options- Your own equipment & tools- Opportunity for advancement & growth in a rapidly expanding team- Mentorship, learning & education programs- Smart, high-achievers, motivated team that likes to have fun.- Mission-driven culture, where your work matters**Availability**:- Bay area/Scotts Valley, CA.
