Flō Networks is a leading provider of telecommunications services between the United States and Mexico. We provide connectivity and managed services to Fortune 1000 companies, and to telecommunications and cable companies through a fiber optic network that extends for 35,000 km between both countries.We are looking for a **General Accountant** to join our team in **Ciudad Juarez, Mexico**.**The role**:The **General Accountant** is responsible for preparing reports and financial statements that reflect income, profits, and other financial results. Manages our accounting practices throughout the organization ensuring that financial and operating results reflect the condition of the business, as well as providing reliable information necessary for the control of the operations.**Responsibilities**:General:- Monitors CAPEX transactions and Projects in Progress.- Performs accounting depreciation calculations.- Keeps control of payments made in advance as well as their amortizations.- Performs the provision of salaries and reconciles payments.- Performs the provision of the savings fund, Christmas bonus, holiday/vacation premium, and savings account.- Keeps track of intercompany operations and performs monthly calculations for the invoicing process.- Reconciles intercompany loans and invoices the calculated interests.- Provides general support during Month End and Revaluation processes.- Performs a month-to-month variation analysis on assigned Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts.- Participates in the external audit process providing reconciliations and transactions support.- Generates monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ad hoc.- Supports miscellaneous accounting related duties as required.Special Projects:- Provides support of intercompany operations for the Mexican Transfer Pricing Study and registers accounting records if necessary.- Provides support for the actuarial study and registers accounting records according to NIF D-3.- Monitors the Labor Capitalization process in coordination with HR.- Monitors the lease accounting process according to NIF D-5 and ASC-842.- Designs, documents, and updates the departmental processes.- Implements efficiencies, improvements, and automation in the department.**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar or equivalent position in the financial area.- Strong analytical skills to perform multiple source reconciliations and provide significant goal-oriented insights.- Proven experience with process improvement projects or software implementations.- Bilingual English and Spanish.- Manage Office 365 and Google Workspace.- Strong ERP systems experience, preferably in NetSuite.**Privacy notice**: Flō Networks does not use the personal information of job applicants for any purpose other than strictly the recruitment process.
