Work Mode: Hybrid_**Location**:Mexico**Opportunity**As the Staff Engineer - Smart Factory Project Engineer, provide the technical knowledge and leadership direction in the following:Engage, collaborate, and educate our associates on the benefits of Smart Factory implementation, and how with the right culture and operating principles, improvements on safety, quality, delivery and cost can be realized.Support the identification and allocation of key in plant Smart Factory resources.Contribute to the continuous improvement of current tools and templates so that each deployment becomes more gracious and non-value add activities are eliminated.Identify the issues and opportunities within a plant, understanding and evaluating KPI’s and leveraging broader network knowledge to allow common issue resolution knowledge, benefits, and solution toolsets to be communicated.Be the link between plants and establish cross functional connectivity and encourage value add sharing to allow one plant to benefit many and create the community spirit.Assist in the generation of the documentation to understand and capture the benefits of a particular project and the impact on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Ensure plants and teams are ready and prepared for project implementation, identifying and escalating risks and gaps as necessary, and always driving to project success.Work with the business unit leadership teams to assist prioritization of projects based on readiness, resource, benefit and capital employed.Lead with lean and be the voice to drive sound operating culture and principles that are fundamental baselines to implementing Smart Factory.Ability to influence a mindset of Continuous Improvement and mentor individuals/teams who need extra support.Participate in technical design reviews, internal/external, and provide agnostic evaluation to recommend and deliver the best solutions to our customers.Provide though leadership on Smart Factory, both from a technical and strategic level and give positive influence the overall journey and vision throughout our immediate leadership teams.Remain up to date on technology and processes and help align the operating cultures to support the changes/advancements.**Skills/Requirements**B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar required.Previous project experience regarding “Digital Factory/Smart Factory/Industry 4.0” processes and technology is required.8 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering experience required.
