We are seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in managing HR documentation and compliance, and who is adept at multitasking in a dynamic environment. As a People Operations Specialist, you will ensure that our human resources policies and practices are not only up-to-date but also aligned with regulatory standards, providing a strong backbone for our company's HR functions.RESPONSIBILITIES- Update and maintain accurate employee files with requisite documentation- Prepare and oversee the audit process for employee documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance- Serve as the main point of contact with our background investigation provider- Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment- Provide advice on best practices regarding internal policies, labor relations, and people-related procedures- Collaborate with other departments to streamline HR processes and enhance employee satisfaction- Requirements**REQUIREMENTS**:- At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a closely related field- Proven experience managing employee documentation and conducting audits of employee files- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously- Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher- Capable of managing complex and ambiguous situations and independently finding solutions- Experience in implementing internal policies and ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws- Familiarity with conducting background investigations or working with external service providers for these services- Thorough knowledge of Mexican labor law, including Federal Labor Law, Social Security Law, Infonavit, and other local regulations- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential documents- Proven internal consulting skills on best practices in human resources and labor relationsNICE TO HAVE- Additional certifications in Human Resources such as SHRM or HRCI- Experience with HR software and information systems- A background in organizational psychology or related fieldsWE OFFER- Career plan and real growth opportunities- Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions- International Mobility Plan within 25 countries- Constant training, mentoring, online corporate courses, eLearning and more- English classes with a certified teacher- Support for employee’s initiatives (Algorithms club, toastmasters, agile club and more)- Enjoyable working environment (Gaming room, napping area, amenities, events, sport teams and more)- Flexible work schedule and dress code- Collaborate in a multicultural environment and share best practices from around the globe- Hired directly by EPAM & 100% under payroll- Law benefits (IMSS, INFONAVIT, 25% vacation bonus)- Major medical expenses insurance: Life, Major medical expenses with dental & visual coverage (for the employee and direct family members)- 13 % employee savings fund, capped to the law limit- Grocery coupons- 30 days December bonus- Employee Stock Purchase Plan- 12 vacations days plus 4 floating days- Official Mexican holidays, plus 5 extra holidays (Maundry Thursday and Friday, November 2nd, December 24th & 31st)- Relocation bonus: transportation, 2 weeks of accommodation for you and your family and more
