We are dedicated to helping Higher Ed thrive by transforming their institutions to agile, digitally connected campuses that enable student success.Overview:Ellucian is seeking an innovative and dynamic Lead Software Full Stack Engineer. We are looking for a hands-on individual to be an integral part of the design, build out and adoption of an exciting new SaaS, cloud-based higher education solution.Working closely with product architects and product management you will be working on a new technology project involving the design and creation of a new product.**Where you will make an impact**- Participating in the design, development, and delivery of new solutions for the next generation of Higher Education products.- Communicating to technical and non-technical audience both internally and with clients and business partners- Advocating and implementing front-end engineering best practices related to usability, performance, security, and code quality- Providing written and verbal knowledge and to other team members through collaboration and training**What you will bring**- Strong experience with React.JS or another modern JavaScript frameworks.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools.- Experience in technically leading a team of Software Engineers or experience in mentoring/coaching other developers.- Experience in AWS and database technology a plus (Postgres, No SQL)- Experience working in an Agile development environment- Solid fundamentals on Object-Oriented Design, Patterns and Data Structures- Experience with design and development of highly available, distributed, and scalable transactional enterprise systems.- A self-motivated and innovative mindset with a passion for learning new technology.- Strong, effective communication skills, both written and verbal.- Exposure to BDD/TDD beneficial.- Desirable - Experience using some of the following tools: Selenium WebDriver, CodeUI, JUnit, JMeter- Desirable - Experience with the following languages desirable Java, C++ or C#- Desirable - Scrum master experienceWhat makes #Ellucianlife:- Comprehensive health coverage: family major medical expenses, dental and life insurance.- Christmas bonus 30 days- Saving fund- Monthly food coupon- 15 workdays vacation- Thrive Flex Program that allows you to contribute towards your health, financial or learning interests- 5 charitable days to support the community that supports us- Diversity and inclusion programs that promote employee resource groups such as: Women in Technology, Pride and Go Green to name a few.- Parental leave- Employee referral bonuses to encourage the addition of great new people to the team- We Foster a learning culture with:- Tuition Reimbursement Assistance- Professional development opportunitiesLI-MH1LI-Remote
