**Job Purpose**The M&E Officer will provide support to the project by developing the M&E strategy, ensuring that the project delivers the expected results and monitor and evaluate project performance.**Competences**- In depth knowledge in M&E methods and approaches, including qualitative and quantitative approaches.- Participatory assessments and monitoring, data processing or analysis, facilitation, and M&E design.- Ability to produce quality reports and a solid understanding of rural development, with a focus on participatory processes, joint management, and gender issues.- Must be willing to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholder.- Proficient in MS Applications and the use of statistical software's (Power Bi, SPSS, etc.).- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.**Key Performance Outputs**- M &E System Development and Implementation- Data Analysis and Reporting- Continuous Improvement, Capacity and Stakeholder Management- Project Implementation Support- Time Management and Workload- Administrative Tasks**Education**- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Agricultural Economics, Developmental Studies, Business, Economics, or other relevant degree.**Experience**- At least 5 years’ M&E experience in either NGO’s, Bank Funded project and Government Ministries.
