This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution. You’ll partner with senior leadership to ensure sound decision-making, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to financial best practices.Your responsibilities- Financial Management -Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to guide strategic decisions.- Accounting Operations - Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and monthly/annual closing.- Compliance & Reporting - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory filings.- Internal Controls - Develop and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.- Business Partnering - Collaborate with department heads to monitor budgets, evaluate investments, and optimize costs.- Audit & Tax - Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings.What you bring- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).- 7+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.- Proficiency in accounting software (D365 is a plus) and advanced Excel skills.- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.FLSmidth is the leading supplier of engineering, equipment and service solutions to customers in the mining and minerals industries - for more information please visit
