We're remote-first, fast-paced, and obsessed with marketing excellence.**The Role**We're looking for a Nonprofit Marketing Coach & Account Manager - someone who lives and breathes marketing strategy, loves connecting with people, and thrives on building deep, strategic relationships with clients. This is NOT a traditional account management role. You'll be a marketing strategist, coach, and relationship manager who owns the marketing vision for your clients while working alongside a talented team of doers (marketing strategists, graphic designers, video creators, and web developers).Your job is to think strategically, coach clients on marketing best practices, and drive the relationship forward. Our team of specialists will execute the work.**What You'll Do**- Client Strategy & Coaching_- Own 4-10 nonprofit and association client relationships, serving as their primary marketing coach and strategic advisor- Lead weekly strategy meetings with fractional CMO clients, setting agendas and driving marketing strategy discussions- Conduct every-other-week check-ins with other clients, maintaining consistent strategic oversight and relationship momentum- Help clients think bigger about their marketing potential, pushing them beyond reactive tactics to proactive, strategic thinking- Stay deeply knowledgeable about your clients' sectors, industries, and competitive landscapesRelationship & Account Management:- Be the primary point of contact and relationship driver for your clients, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and strategically supported- Maintain client retention through proactive relationship management, anticipating needs before they arise- Translate client goals into clear marketing strategies and deliverables, working with your pod team to execute- Provide regular performance updates and ROI demonstrations, showing clear value for continued partnership- Act as the "vibe check" and internal champion for your clients, ensuring their needs are met and their vision is realized- Marketing Expertise & Continuous Learning_:- Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing best practices, tools, and strategies in your sector-Research and share insights with clients about what's working in nonprofit marketing- Collaborate with your pod team (Marketing Strategist, Marketing Specialist, designers, video creators) to ensure strategy is executed flawlesslyPod Leadership:- Work as part of a dedicated pod structure, leading the strategic vision while your marketing strategist and specialists handle execution- Ensure your pod team is aligned on client goals and delivering high-quality work on time-Communicate clearly and proactively with your team, keeping everyone focused on the client's success- Who You Are:_- Dynamic and energetic: You bring enthusiasm and positive energy to every client interaction- Relationship builder: You love connecting with people, building trust, and maintaining strong relationships over time- Strategic thinker: You see the big picture, think beyond the immediate ask, and help clients think bigger about their marketing potential- Coach and mentor: You enjoy helping others learn and grow, and you're passionate about coaching clients to marketing success- Fluent in English: Must speak English fluently (remote-first team with global communication)**Required Experience**:- Minimum 4-6 years of significant marketing experience and knowledge- Track record of managing client relationships and driving client satisfaction-Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (agency experience is a plus but not required)- Nonprofit experience is not required...marketing expertise is what matters project management toolsIf you want to lead, think strategically, and be a key voice for organizations doing good work, you might just be our next nonprofit marketing nerd.
