Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment.- Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.- Ensures products conform to standards and specifications.- Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk.- Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems.- Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products.- Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur..- Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.**Behavioral traits**:Excellent interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and ability to be a team player in a diverse environment.**Qualifications****Minimum qualifications**:Without Degree and 2+ years of applicable experience or Bachelor's / Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.If you have a Bachelor's degree, you must have 2+ years of applicable job experience. If you have a Master's degree, you must have 1+ year of applicable job experience.Please consider that this is a temporary position (6 months contract).1+ year of experience in:- Board design process.- Industrial Computer Aided Design (CAD) toolset for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design such as Cadence, ORCAD, Proteus or similar.- Intermediate English level.**Preferred Qualifications**:- 1+ year of experience on Intel Server architectures.- 1+ year of experience in Signal Integrity Design.- 1+ year Field Programmable Gate-Array (FPGA) and Programmable Logic Design (PLD).**Inside this Business Group**The Data Platforms Engineering and Architecture (DPEA) Group invents, designs & builds the world's most critical computing platforms which fuel Intel's most important business and solve the world's most fundamental problems.
