**Job Description** Responsibilities include**:- Conducting or participating in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment.- Preparing specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.- Ensuring products conform to standards and specifications.- Developing plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk.- Developing procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems.- Initiating, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products.- Responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur.- Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.**Behavioral traits**:- Excellent interpersonal skills.- Assertiveness.- Team player in a diverse environment.**Qualifications**Please consider that this is a temporary position (6 months contract).**Minimum Qualifications**:- Without Degree and 2+ years of applicable experience or Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM fields.- If you have a Bachelor's degree, you must have 2+ years of applicable job experience. If you have a Master's degree, you must have 1+ year of applicable job experience.- 1+ year of experience in:- Board design process.- Industrial Computer Aided Design (CAD) toolset for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design such as Cadence, ORCAD, Proteus or similar.- Intermediate English level.**Preferred Qualifications**:- 1+ year of experience on Intel Server architectures.- 1+ year of experience in Signal Integrity Design.- 1+ year Field Programmable Gate-Array (FPGA) and Programmable Logic Design (PLD).**Inside this Business Group**The Data Platforms Engineering and Architecture (DPEA) Group invents, designs & builds the world's most critical computing platforms which fuel Intel's most important business and solve the world's most fundamental problems.
