Johnson Control’s Marketing IT Center of Enablement is looking for a skilled Technical Analyst / Front-End Developer to join their team.This professional will be tasked with analyzing and understanding JCI’s current Web footprint and slew of web properties and take a deep dive into the code to inform and recommend technical approaches to solve for key requirements, with mínimal efforts.Responsibilities include:- Providing technical analysis and recommendations to implement new or enhance existing front-end code or capabilities for Websites (e.g. Development of site themes, implementation of multi-layered cookie banners, etc.)- Develop, enhance and maintain the Frond End of a multi-site and multi-lingual public facing highly performant website with rich user experience.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders, to translate design and business requirements into functional user interfaces.- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.- Ensuring the responsiveness and compatibility of websites across various devices and browsers.- Optimizing web performance by minimizing load times and improving page speed.- Conducting thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix front-end issues.- Staying up to date with emerging front-end technologies, best practices, and industry trends.- Collaborating with back-end developers to integrate front-end interfaces with server-side functionality.- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.- Review existing or new code provided by third-party vendors to maximize investments- Assisting in the documentation of technical specifications and user guides.Required:- Ability to communicate in **English **with stakeholders from around the world, including but not limited to, United States, Europe, and Asia.Preferred skills:- **Proven work experience as a Front-end developer (3+ years)**:- Hands on **experience with markup languages **.- Experience with **HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap **.- Extensive hands on experience in coding with **JavaScript, JQuery**:- Preferable Angular, React.js, Vue.js or Node.js- Understanding of server-side CSS.- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process.- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging- Determining the structure and design of web pages.- Developing features to enhance the user experience.- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving skills.- Preferable working experience on Sitecore, Drupal, Expression Engine, ProcessWire, Wordpress, ASP.Net websites.
