Our team is hardworking, entrepreneurial, and passionate about helping families create millions, if not billions of tiny wins.SUMMARYThe Logistics Analyst is responsible to provide logistics support for inbound transportation, customs regulations & compliance. The role will provide oversight and support in shipping and outbound transportation including preparing orders in the system, assuring delivery at stores with 3PL, live tracking of trailers and resolving issues or arranging alternatives in case of any incident. The position includes the preparation of monitoring reports (indicators and databases).PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Prepare materials in transit daily update to follow up the import process, comply with customs clearance requirements and ensure material availability at warehouse.- Update sales order report on a weekly basis to attend meetings with sales team and some customers.- Update the Ocean Freight Tracker of inbound containers for communication to the Logistics and Far East teams.- Create NOM (Normas oficiales Mexicanas - official Mexican standards) Labels for direct imports, Kids2 artwork, and new releases to ensure correct information for customs purposes.- Maintain/Update Mexico Import Database to ensure we have all customs paperwork such as Free Sales certificates and Laboratory Certificates and that they are updated before annual expiration.- Creation and update of Database for new customers with Direct Import operation and their customs compliance.- Conduct conciliation of monthly cycle counts with 3PL: Kids2 System vs 3PL System. (Advance Microsoft excel knowledge is required.)- Provide support on mid-year and end of year Wall-to-Wall inventory (count pieces along with 3PL staff, validate quantities, facilitate the conciliation).- Provide proof of deliveries for Liverpool and have a weekly conciliation with them to avoid extra charges.- Enter arrivals into the system to reflect inventory availability.- Produce shipment BOLs in system against customer orders on a timely basis.- Produce Carta Porte for each inbound shipment to ensure driver has the Mexico Tax Authority compliance.- Provide support to the account services team for customer service issues.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE- 2-4 years’ experience in Logistics, Customer Service- Retail industry experience preferred- Customs regulation experience preferred.EDUCATION & SKILLS- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics Management, Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related.- Customer service and strong communication skills required.- Collaborative and agile.- English language required.- Ability to travel to 3PL warehouse and customer locations.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS- Not requiredCOMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.- Must have working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) documents and functionality.- Ability to interpret data.PHYSICAL DEMANDS- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear.- The team member frequently is required to sit; have flexible use of hands; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.- The team member is occasionally required to stand, walk, and taste or smell.- The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENT- General office environmentWe offer competitive pay, flexible hours, and generous benefits.
