As an IT SOFTWARE & IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES, you will assist with the management of spend including negotiating agreements that optimize the total value for PPG in compliance with established purchasing policies. He/She will be responsible for overseeing spend, projects, managing supplier relationships, conducting RFPs, leading the selection of suppliers, assisting with strategy development/ implementation and monitoring compliance within their assigned set of categories.**Key Responsibilities**- Build relationships with Functional and Business Stakeholders to work on regional and global sourcing initiatives- Proactively identify and initiate cost optimization projects- Utilize various purchasing electronic tools including spend management software to submit RFXs, conduct auctions, and manage contracts- Drive supplier performance through service level agreements- Participate in preparing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies- Fully comply with the company’s purchasing policies- Develop communication reviews with leadership, reviewing critical suppliers, upcoming projects, and an understanding of the forward business needs**Qualifications**- Travel is less than 25% of the time.- Bachelor's degree, relevant procurement qualifications or direct work experience in the field- Minimum 1 year of strategic sourcing experience- Proficiency with establishing contracts, monitoring performance and issue resolution- Proactive, hands-on and results oriented.
