We specialize in rope for the gas and oil industry for mining and off shore drilling, cranes, bridges and military installations.**Job Description**:Execute programs of the operational processes of the Safety, Hygiene and Environment area in all areas of the town to comply with the applicable legal and corporate requirements and implement the EHS System, procedures, management systems, plant tours, detection, report, closure of acts and unsafe conditions, execute emergency care programs in case they arise, ensure the maintenance and correct operation of all emergency and property security systems in the town, support the medical service area to ensure its correct operation.- Supervise the execution of production processes in order to detect unsafe conditions and unsafe behaviors for the prevention of accidents and / or occupational diseases.- Report of Unsafe Acts, Unsafe conditions, near misses.- Review, release and supervision of dangerous Work Permits in the plant.- Management, administration of waste areas generated in the plant (Hazardous, Non-hazardous, Special handling)- Supervision and administration of emergency response and attention systems (pump house, firefighters suits, fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms) ensuring their availability and functionality.- Review and report of regulatory compliance on the floor.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent- Conversational English- Experience of at least 5 years in positions of head or coordination of safety and industrial hygiene- Preferred experience in metalworking or chemical industries- Knowledge of risk assessment, What if, HAZOP, ORCA techniques- Knowledge of indicators, legal requirements- Experience with ISO and OSHAS.Additional InformationEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disability
