We enable your best to power our future.**Overview**:We are currently looking for a Team Lead for our Sports Live Data team.**About The Role**:The Live Data Team Lead is expected to lead our Part Time Live Data Operators by providing effective guidance on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for supervising, managing, and motivating team members regularly.As a team leader, you will be the contact point for the Part-Time Live Data Operators team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engaging the editorial team to achieve the goals set out by the business.**Responsibilities**:- Supporting the Sports Data Manager, overseeing the organization of workflow and personnel schedules in the most efficient manner relative to cost, time, and accuracy; providing prioritization guidance of work assignments- Manage team members' performance including one-on-ones, quarterly check-ins, and annual review. Reward and coach/counsel staff.- Maintain workload requirements and inform manager and staff of changes to deadlines- Maintain quality and coverage standards within the content database- Resolve and direct discrepancies reported by clients- Devise and implement ideas and procedures to improve quality and productivity.- Collaborate with the entire content team to build resources, establish processes, and define research best practices- As the Sports Live Data group and database coverage expectations expand identify new tools to assist- Execute integration & project activities based on the manager's direction- Coordinate training for new staff members or refresh the skill sets of the current team- Maintain the content operations knowledge database ensuring that all Sports Live Data documentation is kept up to date and that any changes to software, process, or standards are documented- Perform Editorial tasks when required- Escalation point during out-of-hours**Requirements/Qualifications**:- 3+ years of team management work experience- Experience in working with global stakeholders and clients- Ready to work in a 24/7 operation, including evening, night and weekend shifts- Proven record of delivering quality results on time- Uses logic to analyze data and the capability to draw conclusions and communicate or provide advice or consultation to people managers and process owners.- The ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively both verbally and in written communication.- Maintain composure and respond appropriately in stressful or crisis situations.- Ability to effectively build consensus within the team and among disparate stakeholders- Capability to evaluate process performance within an organization and to make recommendations for improvements.LI-LE1**ABOUT THE TEAM**Gracenote, a Nielsen company, provides music, video, and sports content along with technologies to the world's hottest entertainment products and brands, which is also a global standard for music and video recognition which is supported by the largest source of entertainment data.
