Job Responsibilities: \* Manage and supervise all aspects of plant accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. \* Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance reports, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions. \* Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies and GAAP. \* Lead the annual budgeting process for the manufacturing facility, collaborating with departmental managers to establish realistic and achievable financial targets. \* Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, material, and overhead, to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. \* Provide financial analysis and insights to plant management for decision-making related to production planning, capital expenditures, and operational initiatives. \* Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and proper accounting treatment. \* Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditor requests. \* Manage cash flow and working capital effectively to optimize financial performance. \* Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment. \* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.**Required Skills and Education**Job Qualifications: \* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
