**Flō Networks **is a leading provider of telecommunications services between the United States and Mexico. We provide connectivity and managed services to Fortune 1000 companies, telecommunications and cable companies through a fiber optic network that extends for 35,000 km between both countries.We have an immediate need for a** Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)** in Mexico City, Mexico.**The Role**:**The Responsibilities**:- Design, implement, and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve potential issues in both Linux and Windows environments.- Drive automation to eliminate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency across hybrid systems.- Analyze performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize scalability in mixed operating system environments.- Embrace a DevOps culture, bridging the gap between development and operations for seamless delivery.- Integrate security best practices throughout the infrastructure and services.- Remain updated on the latest SRE technologies, tools, and methodologies applicable to Linux and Windows systems.- Collaborate on incident response and post-mortem analysis to prevent future occurrences.- Propose and implement architectural improvements to enhance system resiliency**The Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.- 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or similar role, demonstrating expertise in both Linux and Windows administration.- Expertise in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Java, PowerShell).- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, KVM, Proxmox).- Experience with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and practices.- Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, KVM).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- A passion for reliability and a data-driven approach to decision-making.- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.- A desire to continuously learn and improve systems engineering practices.- Bilingual - English and Spanish.**Privacy notice**: Flō Networks does not use the personal information of job applicants for any purpose other than strictly the recruitment process.
