Npi Operations Program Manager, Physical Infrastructure

Note: Google’s hybrid workplace includes remote roles.**Remote location: Mexico.****Minimum qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.- 5 years of experience in program or project management.- 5 years of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution in a new product introduction (NPI) role.- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently in order to communicate with global teams and local contract manufacturers in Mexico.**Preferred qualifications**:- MBA or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering, or other relevant fields.- Experience in multiple aspects of hardware operations.- Knowledge about typical hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation and assembly and test processes.- Excellent communicator of project requirements and schedules.- Excellent leadership, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creativity and strategic skills.**About the job**:A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. You will be accountable for reliable and efficient delivery on behalf of CSCOs customers and users.- In this role, you will be the primary operations/supply chain interface to the development and deployment teams with the responsibility for driving operations new product development as well as supporting those products through production ramp. You are well versed in the Contract Manufacturing (CM)/Original Device Manufacturing (ODM) environments and will lead a team of professionals to ensure products are designed and built to Google standards.This role requires on-site presence at the contractor manufacturer in Guadalajara three days per week.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.**Responsibilities**:- Lead large, complex, cross-functional program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp and/or product transitions.- Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters.
