The Senior Network Administrator position directly supports Rain Bird’s IT Infrastructure. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all server hardware, software, and communication links. The person will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training where required. In addition, this person will participate in management of cybersecurity tools and programs, risk management processes, and control framework implementation.- Administer and support servers, including mail, file, print, backup, and their associated operating systems and software- Administer security solutions, including endpoint protection, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners- Coordinate ongoing vulnerability remediation projects- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, servers, printers, scanners, firewalls, switches, routers, and other infrastructure components- Conduct research on server, network, and security products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts- Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.- Handle ticket escalations from the Help Desk- Monitor and respond to alerts for system outages, backup jobs, performance degradation, and other conditions- Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software- Provide guidance to junior team members- Participate in on-call rotation- Participate in incident response operations- Communicate and present complex technical information to non-technical users- Perform other job related duties as assigned**Minimum Qualifications**:- 5+ years of experience in the information technology field- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems management, cybersecurity, or related field- Advanced industry certifications- Advanced knowledge in backup and data protection technologies- Advanced knowledge in networking technologies, protocols, and concepts- Working knowledge in information and infrastructure security concepts- Working knowledge in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:- 8+ years of experience in the information technology field working in environments with more than 500 users- Experience working in the manufacturing industry and with Operational Technology- Intermediate knowledge in information and infrastructure security concepts- Intermediate knowledge in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365- Spanish-speaking at a professional level- Project management experienceResume/CV must be in EnglishHYSON PRIVACY CLAUSE**Education**:- Bachelor's (required)**Experience**:- information technology field: 5 years (required)- Microsoft desktop server operating systems: 5 years (required)- cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365: 5 years (required)
