Continuous Improvement Industrial Engineer

**_Responsibilities: _**- Evaluate factory layout, manufacturing processes, and materials flow and optimize for maximum output, and to follow the local safety requirements.- Manage production schedules and coordinate services to maximize productivity.- Collaborate with Quality Engineer(s) to ensure the quality of the product is built into the manufacturing process and to implement basic LEAN manufacturing principles.- Work closely with plant technical operations leadership to improve production efficiency, output, and quality.- Evaluate employees’ tasks and responsibilities and identify procedures and tools to improve productivity.- Troubleshoot new and existing manufacturing and product problems related to the design, materials and processes to provide creative, timely, and cost-effective solutions.- Participate in the new product introduction process (NPI), to provide design feedback.- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives related to production, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.- Work with the manufacturing department to ensure that the product design is optimized for manufacturability.- Develop business cases for new equipment acquisition, processes optimization, growth initiatives by calculating the financial benefits such as IRR and payback periods.- Lead the small minor and Large minor projects deployment.**Requirements**:- A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering is preferred, Associate’s degree as a minimum.- Must have 5+ years of experience as an industrial engineer.- Knowledge and understanding of product design validation standards is essential.- CAD/CAM software experience is a plus.- Good communication skills and teamwork approach.- Fluent English.- Problem-solving and decision-making skills are necessary.- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.- LEAN experience is a must.
