**Summary**:Contract Manufacturing Buyer with experience into Semiconductors industry. The CM Buyer is responsible to execute the global category strategy into the regional supply base by communicating, coordinating and implementing cost improvement projects. The category buyer is also responsible to manage the suppliers and provide support to the different areas.**Your Role**:- Meet P2P Saving Target- **Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing**- Improve Payment Terms- Improve Tittle Transfer and Supplier Optimization- On time Sourcing with preferred suppliers and meet expected targets.- Coordinate and support business transferences as assigned preventing disruptions: Tool Moves, Optimization, Rotation, FTS Changes- Present results to upper management- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses- Research potential vendors- Comply with policies and procedures: sourcing process, pmt term deviation, etc., and ensure 0 non conformances in EOS audits**Your Background**:- Bachelor's Degree- **Advanced English level**:- **6+ years of proven work experience** as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role- **Contract terms of agreement and pricing experience**- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)- Understanding of supply chain procedures- **Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses**:- **Strong Negotiation skills to deal with contracts, proven experience on cost reduction ideas**- Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word and industry standard purchase order software- **Proven knowledge on injection molding and resins is a must****Nice to haves**:- Hands-on experience with purchasing software (eg. SAP)- Knowledge in Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, especially on injection moldingAptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
