Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.Job SummaryJob summary:_ To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Manufacturing Engineer _located in _Aguascalientes.__ Manufacturing Engineer _role involves_ _plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties._What a typical day looks like:- _ Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies and techniques_- _ Designs manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters._- _ Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods._- _ Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root-causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills._- _ Work with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans_- _ May be involved in development and update of PFMEA for new products_- _ May participate in control plan development_- _ Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.g. specifications, procedures)_- _ Analyzes and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency._- _ Conference with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods._- _ Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to customer requests._- _ Provides information for management decisions from a technical and technical cost perspective._- _ Conference with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes._- _ Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential._The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- _ Engineer or Bachelor´s Degree related._- _ Intermediate English._- _ Use of the following tools may be required: CAD, robot and PLC programming, and other automation components._- _ Testing: oscilloscope, cable and harness testing, trouble shooting, component testing, logic analyzer._- _ Inspection: bare board, systems, components, cable and harness, microscope, measuring tools. Mechanical & Electrical Tools: taps and dies, alignment tools, measuring tools._- _ Office skills: office software to include, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation package_- _ AMEF Implementation.
