Your Role- Reporting to the Regional HR Director and Regional Talent Manager, you will plan and organize a wide range of training activities across the region working with local, regional and global content. Responsible for assessing talent development needs, developing and delivering programs to meet learning needs for both technical and administrative team members, and crafting strategic solutions for building skills across the region in support of regional and firmwide goals.- Your role as Talent Development Specialist will be to manage the planning, organization, coordination and facilitation of a wide variety of training activities and sessions; and arrange on-the-job training for the Mexico office.- What You Will Do- Your primary responsibilities will include:- Partnering with RMP, Regional HR Director, Regional Talent Development Sr. Specialist and Global Talent Development Leader to create a strategic talent development plan.-- Act as a local Talent Development Specialist for the CR office partnering with Office Managing Directors, Studio and Community Leaders.-- Develop, lead and execute a learning and development strategy for the region encompassing both technical and non-technical learning.-- Provide mentorship and guidance to each office’s Talent Coordinators, including training them on LMS System (Workday).-- Identify and assess learning needs meeting regularly with the Studio Leaders to ascertain training and development needs.Partner with local HR team to ensure talent development strategies align with HR strategies.-- Partner with Regional HR Director and Firmwide talent development on regional and firmwide initiatives.-- Develop, organize, and conduct learning programs and promote a learning culture.-- Review, evaluate and analyze learning program effectiveness and recommend updates and changes.-- Develop and implement learning opportunities that ensure a clear understanding and alignment of business procedures, policies and systems-- Track, monitor and report on learning activities and spending to budget.-- Works to ensure all employees are using the LMS system to manage their training needs. Optimize LMS for tracking and managing learning hours, skills gap and needs.-- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of training across the region.-- Engage and network with local learning providers/vendors to bring in external expertise.-- Coach and develop a Talent Development Analyst.- Your Qualifications- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline.-- 4+ years of experience in a talent development and/or as a learning facilitator, ideally in a fast paced professional services or consulting industry.-- Bilingual in Spanish and English; Portuguese would be an additional benefit-- Outstanding ability to determine priorities, take ownership of tasks, and exhibit a high level of initiative and follow-through.-- Passionate about learning and coaching.-- Proven track record in building content and facilitating learning programs.Strong interpersonal communications skills-- Strong business acumen; extensive skills in thinking creatively; proven ability to see beyond the specific interests of the learning function to the broader picture, understanding the needs of growing people-- Strong project management skills: ability to handle multiple competing priorities; excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility.-- Proven ability to lead/manage change and the ability to coach, evaluate and mentor.-- Ability to work independently, navigate and maintain productivity in a matrix environment.- Life at Gensler- At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
