***Responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for the organization. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and negotiating contracts and pricing agreements.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Identify and source suppliers for required materials, components, and services.- Obtain and review quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and place purchase orders.- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services in alignment with production schedules and company needs.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.- Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.- Monitor supplier compliance with contractual agreements and company standards.Track and report on procurement spending, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, spending, and supplier performance.- Work with engineering, production, and other departments to understand material requirements and specifications.Provide support in resolving any procurement-related issues or challenges that may arise.**QUALIFICATIONS**- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the HVAC or manufacturing industry.- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).- Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools.**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
